The REALMEANGARAGE.COM server is being relocated to a new machine. The
machine will allow us to have greater control over how the website runs.
Testing is going on now. This actual New item was submitted through the
new server.

The REALMEANGARAGE.NET Server's Power Supply burned out late Friday night.
The failure was discovered Saturday afternoon. The bad power supply was
fixed and working again Sunday afternoon.
The REALMEANGARAGE.NET site is
where RMG Photo galleries are served from.

The REALMEANGARAGE.COM website went down for several days due to a
 poorly  planed Web Server transition. Our web hosting company did
 not give us good warning for when the transition was to occur. They
 simple told us "We are going to transition you to a new Server.
 This will be your new servers IP address.", but did not say when.
 Once the old server was being reconfigured the site went down. We
 had to quickly scramble to update the DNS records to point to the
 new Web Server. Then our Domain Registrar's system gave us problems.
 Their system has a bug so that we must ask them to do a custom
 manual change to the DNS records. That took several days trying to
 get the DNS Records changed to point to the new Server.

We will be discussing OBD2 systems and oxygen sensor functions using
Porsche system 2 with projections and white board. This will be technical
but you will learn.

The Real Mean Garage website went down a couple times in the last few days, but
the problem is now fixed.
Our Webserver crashed recently and it was determined the website would need to
be moved to a new server. The move has been completed and everything appears to
be fine.

If you're attending the Speedster 50th Anniversary Event on Saturday,
June 26 and you've notified us that you will display your Porsche, this
correspondence is for you. There will be two display areas at Quail
Lodge: 1) The Featured Cars area for Speedsters, Convertible Ds, and
America Roadsters. 2) The Porsche Corral area for all other Porsches. We are
saving a spot for you. Here's how to find it:

ALL Corral cars must enter Quail Lodge from Rancho San Carlos Road.
Traveling either direction on Carmel Valley Drive, follow the arrows in
the Yellow section of the signs to the Porsche Corral entrance to Quail
Lodge.

ALL Featured cars must enter Quail Lodge through the main entrance on
Valley Greens Drive. Signs along Carmel Valley Road will direct Featured
Cars to the main entrance. Follow arrows in the Green or Blue area of
the signs.

Each Corral car will have a Yellow window hangar that corresponds with
your parking area color code.

Each Featured car will have either a Green or Blue window hanger that
corresponds with the color designating your specific area on the
Featured car field.

The Speedster 50th Anniversary Event Committee

Greetings Porsche 356 Speedster, Convertible D, and America Roadster owners and
all 356 enthusiasts!

2004 marks the 50th Anniversary of the Speedster's introduction to the world
and we're going to celebrate it June 25-27, 2004 in and around Pebble Beach,
California. We will honor the Speedster, its predecessor - the America
Roadster, and its successor - the Convertible D.

This is a once in a lifetime opportunity. Come see the entire 356 Speedster
lineage - from the first prototype to the last Speedster made - the largest
assemblage of Speedsters ever. We expect more than 325 Speedsters, America
Roadsters, and Convertible Ds from all over the world - plus at least that many
additional 356s in the Porsche Corral* - and you can be part of it.

On sat. Jan 17th we will be having a tech session on water cooled Porsche
cooling systems and how to maintain them.

The RMG Enterprises REALMEAGARAGE.COM Web site went live today at noon.
Yes, it's been a long time coming. Getting every little detail just right...
Well maybe not everything, but most everything is right. There are a few little
details that should be working soon. The News submission form is just about
ready, but until then people are welcome to submit news via email to the
webmaster. You can use the link at the bottom of each page.
I'm a bit reluctant to announce this just yet, but we're testing a Shop Webcam so
people can see the shop live. It's too early to say for certain this will
happen, so stay tuned.
There's lots of other ideas for the site flying around, so keep your eyes open.

Anyhow, I hope you find the site to be of some use, and maybe even Fun...
